Who do you have for corner required leagues?

I have Sean Smith Miami a. I wish Chris Owens(Atl) would start but he's buried in the depth chart for now.

This is a great topic which I have been hoping to hear more about for the upcoming season. I haven't heard this topic being touched on in any of the IDP podcasts either.

I think you right about Sean Smith....he looks like a lock at this stage to be the best rookie CB fantasy wise for 2009.

Sherrod Martin is one for me, looks like he will at least pick up the Nickel duties in Carolina which is what brought Richard Marshall to prominence.

Alphonso Smith in DEN is more of a long shot but based on the lack of quality at CB there in Denver he might end up getting on the field.

Two DEEP DEEP long shots IMO are Brice McCain in Houston & Asher Allen in Minnesota. The Houston situation appears to be a window that may have closed with Dunta Robinson having returned from his holdout though if injuries take hold both McCain and Allen could get their chance.

ETA: Derek Cox in JAX looks like he will start now that Brian Williams has been cut.

Smith didn't have a lot of tackles in preseason but he could be money in big plays. His ball skills are amazing. He used to be a WR and I wonder where they'll use him besides CB.
Returns, a Devin Hester WR? He's 6'3.

Sean Smith's the one that interests me most, him outperforming Davis in camp was of no surprise here. Malcom Jenkins is another one, he has more play making ability too. I haven't read anything else indicating other rookies starting week 1.

I got Smith in all my CB required leagues after that pick.

There are some good candidates this year.

I like Smith and Cox as mentioned above.

Bradley Fletcher from the Rams is starting and is reportedly a good tackler.
