I don't think so. Peterson/Calvin are interchangeable depending on your teams needs. I mean Calvin's like the Reggie Bush of RB's potential wise. So its not everyday a Wr with such upside comes along.
In start 3 RB leagues or a 3rd flex Rb option I'd go Peterson regardless but in all other formats I'd be torn seriously.

I got Calvin in 6 dynasty leagues, but never had to take him at 1.1. Grabbed him at 1.2 in 4 leagues, 1.3 in 1 league, and took him in the 3rd round in a new startup league. But i don't think its crazy to take him at 1.1 in a pt per reception league if you have a bigger need at WR than RB.

I don't care how valuable RBs are, there is no way in the world I could take Lynch ahead of Calvin in any format. However...as much as I think Calvin is a can't miss stud (I know, no such thing, but...), I could not take Calvin over Peterson, because I think Peterson is a top 5 long term stud RB, and those are the hardest thing to get in fantasy football.

I debated it for a long time, because I had 1.1 and 1.2, and I could never take CJ over Peterson because of upside Peterson represents. He could possibly be the next elite back we see emerge in the NFL. That being said, I wouldnt take Lynch over Calvin because I dont think Lynch, regardless of being the feature back, will equal the FF production of Calvin over there careers.
On a side note I traded Calvin and kept AD. Also I think even if I needed a receiver and only had 1.1 I would have still taken Peterson, not only because of his upside as I already stated, but because even as valued as Calvin is Peterson is valued much more. Ive gotten MANY nice offers for Peterson in my dynasty league
