Rosevelt Colvin Placed on IR (1 Viewer)

dude, I'm already crying.......don't remind me.

maybe my boy, adalius, can light it up.

might just pick him back up.....

with regards to this injury does anyone think the other LB'ers will have a increase in production. i've heard pierre woods will get more time, and heard adalius thomas playing much more on the outside opposed to the inside. with adalius moving outside more seau is suppose to pickup more stats in the middle. could seau(at his advanced age) pickup a few more tackles a game to be a fantasy 'playa' again? or atleast in the level of a LB3-5 range?

Absolutely. This was a major topic in our subscriber content and was addressed in the headline section of our podcast this week. Reading Belichick's mind is difficult at best, but the most likely players to benefit are Junior Seau, Adalius Thomas and Jarvis Green. If the Pats stay with a base 3-4, Seau is going to pick up a lot of snaps inside and was very productive in that role in the past. If the Pats use more 4-3, Jarvis Green becomes a steady DL2+. And Adalius Thomas benefits, certainly in the big play columns, either way in a more comfortable role as an OLB. Belichick and Pees like to rotate guys, so I think you're right that Pierre Woods is going to see time. He's more of an OLB, though, and it'll be interesting to see if Woods/Thomas is a better mix than Thomas/Seau.
