It surprises me, only because he had been making plays in camp, and was on the receiving end of several nice long passes/TDs in the preseason. If Rice were healthy? Wouldn't surprise me in the least. I don't think teams tell players when they were cut that the reason is because they are going to sign player X. Steve Johnson will be the #2, Parrish the #3 will be used a lot, and I guess David Nelson will be the #4.I'm disappointed that Joique Bell and Chad Jackson both got cut. Jackson played well in practices and games I thought. Not sure why he got cut.
