I don't know about that....Henry has a court date on MondayGrant, only bc Henry's suspension is still a few weeks away it seems.
"ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports Travis Henry is expected to play Monday night against the Packers, and that the running back is several weeks away from hearing about a potential one-year suspension.Impact: Paolantonio says the NFL will likely take four more weeks before deciding whether to suspend Henry. For tonight, the inactives will be posted about an hour prior to game time. Henry is taking a painkilling injection to play and may struggle to finish, but we'd use him over Selvin Young if he starts DeShawn Wynn is the best fantasy play in the game based on matchups and health."Of course, grain of salt, but......I don't know about that....Henry has a court date on MondayGrant, only bc Henry's suspension is still a few weeks away it seems.

Mort had a report last night which contradicted Paolantonio's report. He said the Week 9 game against the Lions could be the last one Henry plays this season. Assuming Henry is physically able to play, of course."ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports Travis Henry is expected to play Monday night against the Packers, and that the running back is several weeks away from hearing about a potential one-year suspension.Impact: Paolantonio says the NFL will likely take four more weeks before deciding whether to suspend Henry. Who would have thought we would be having a conversation about which undrafted RB will be the better starter for their team. Wow it has been a strange year. I can only suggest in next years rookie draft to grab every RB you can because there are a lot of holes to fill.Since my sad running game now depends on both of these guys, I hope it's a horse race between "great" and "awesome." I do think one of them will help fantasy teams make the playoffs, but I'm not sure which one yet.Young's performance was impressive because the Packers have a great D. Denver's D is awful, but Green Bay couldn't run previously. So Grant did look good. I also liked that the Packers weren't afraid to feed him the ball. Once he showed something and Wynn got hurt...they went with it.I think Grant has an advantage because the Packers are a likely playoff team and they see the potential for a special season. It would make sense to get him "battle-ready" over the rest of the season so he sees a lot of defenses and packages. That way he could be a real factor in the playoffs. Give Green Bay a running game, and they could compete with anyone in the NFC. If the Broncos see Henry as a lost cause (suspension-wise) it would make sense to utilize Young. Like replacing Plummer last year, Shanahan has the job security to make decisions with the future in mind. If they're convinced Henry won't play in 2008, why not get Young ready for the job? If they think Cutler/Young/Marshall is the future in Denver, let them work together and let the chips fall where they may in 2007. If I have to pick one, I'd have to say Grant because they seem to be willing to roll with him. Then again, a PPR format might benefit Young. Both would give dynasty owners some nice space to breathe.
A preliminary court date. His lawyers think they can stall this until january.SteelerMurf said:I don't know about that....Henry has a court date on Mondaygianmarco said:Grant, only bc Henry's suspension is still a few weeks away it seems.
True. Then again, Mike Bell isn't worth much these days. That alone gives me more confidence in Grant, since Shanahan is quick to give guys a shot...and take it away.Who would have thought we would be having a conversation about which undrafted RB will be the better starter for their team. Uh, Denver only had two more offensive plays after Young's last run.Grant by a mile. Young went down hard on his shoulder at the end of the game and I dont remember him showing up after that. GB has a better passing game which will open up more for grant. Cutler sux.
Interesting. I saw the Mortensen report on ESPN's MNF pregame, too. He appears to believe that because Travis Henry has already strung out the process by several weeks, Monday's hearing will result in an almost instantaneous decision. Or, as Mort put it, "within hours." He also appears to believe that Henry's guilt in the matter is practically a given. Henry's camp, on the other hand, is still claiming innocence. Though their counter-charge, that Henry didn't have his own representative at the test, doesn't exactly suggest he's completely innocent, either. (No link, obviously; it was TV.)Having said all that, I'd take Selvin Young. (Disclaimer: I have Travis and Selvin on one FFL team. And I waived Ryan Grant from another team three weeks ago.) Selvin looked pretty good against a fair-to-decent GB run defense. And the Denver run system, as many have noted, is superior to GB's. As for GB, they'll continue to put up 80 or 90 rush yards a game, with some going to Grant, some to Morency, and heck, Brandon Jackson, might even return from the dead.A preliminary court date.
