Ryan Grant sounds like a nice story but it's a long shot that he wins the starting job outright over the other 3 backs. At best, he would be part of a 2 headed or 3 headed RBBC.
I can understand most people here saying that Grant was not going to do much in the crowded GB backfield. The only reason I knew the kid could play was that I am from the NY/NNJ area and played against him in hs - I also got a great look at the bottom of his cleats when we played against him - and followed his progression from Don Bosco Prep. But did I expect
this kind of early success? No, but I did feel that he had the talent to excel in a good system. The GB aerial assault commands so much respect that Grant should be successful as long as this kind of balance remains. ALthough Aaron R. has shown flashes in Favre's absence, one could only speculate as to whether Grant could sustain this level of productivity past Brett's retirement.
