Ryan Kerrigan, DE, WAS (1 Viewer)

Who is this Ryan Kerrigan and is he for REAL? The newly named Defensive Rookie of the Month has me thinking.

Yes, he's had a pick-6 from the DE spot which skews his fantasy numbers somewhat, but, nonetheless, he's getting 3-5 solos per game and attacking the QB with 1.5 sacks.

At some point, does this end? Is he really someone we should be adding to our teams? In our leqgue, he's outperformed everyone but Jared Allen, Suggs and Pierre-Paul thus far, not to mention Julius Peppers, who currently starts for me.

So, what's the deal here- flash in the pan? or 3 weeks of solid performance is a trend?

Is he worth adding in favor of Peppers?

What say you?

Yes, he is for real. Actually, Kerrigan plays outside LB for the Skins.

He has a ton of talent. Actually, I saw him playing too timid and taking bad angles on Monday night. When the NFL game slows down for him, he's going to be a very good one.

He's a nice add at LB. If you can add him at DE, you jump on it.

Ryan Kerrigan is a Purdue grad. For those that followed him in college, he was one of the Big Ten's leading defensive players last year. He's playing at the same level he did while at Purdue.

McIntosh? Orapko? No, Kerrigan. He's a stud. Ditto on getting him now if you can.

thread resuscitation...

was going to start one, but beat to it by two years...

everybody knows about aldon smith, von miller & clay matthews (and now justin houston) in big play leagues...

kerrigan could be breaking out...

pro bowl (alternate?) in 2012...

in extreme-big play scoring IDP league, he was close to top five among LBs last week, had a sack and handful+ of tackles...

just had two sacks in GBs opening drive...

has two INT/TD returns in career, underscores his deceptive quickness, good movement skills, plays run well for former college DEs (like many NFL 3-4 OLBs)...
