Ryans no longer a stud LB? (1 Viewer)

I knew he had some knee soreness, didn't hear he had a torn PCL. Wow, NFL.com is bad.

Here is what they say:

Texans LB DeMeco Ryans had two tackles Sunday at the Colts.

(Updated 12/23/2007).

Fantasy Analysis

Ryans had an off day in Week 16. Look for him to bounce back in Week 17 against the Jaguars and consider him a No. 1 LB in IDP leagues.

Says nothing about a torn PCL.

Why the hell is he playing with a torn pcl?

I wish they would shut him down. I have watched at least some of every Texan game that Ryans has played in ... no worries, the injury is what is holding his numbers down. He is still one of the best IDP guys out there.

That's why you need to check in here. There is no stone unturned when it comes to the best information and injury updates. Between the staff and the great posters we have, it's a high probability that most injuries and other important facts will be covered in here. At the very least, you would have known starting Ryans was a possible risk. And you are right...that above analysis is terrible.

He was on my bench yesterday in the finals. He was on the bench because of what I read in this forum. Oh, and yeah, we won.

I used this site as well. The projections should really take into account torn pcl's. Having Ryans as a top 3 starter probably doesn't make the most sense.

I think the assumption might have been that if they are playing him he's not in that much pain. Clearly it appears the Texans were just pretty dumb and should have shut him down.

I went with him over Julian Peterson because of my loyalty to the guys that got me to the big game.

He was probabable and had 10 days between games ... If he was hurt he shouldn't have been playing because A: he sucked and B: he screwed me at th wrong time.

That is just part of Fantasy Football. I am sure HOU could care less how it affected fantasy owners. What is important to them (and ultimately fans and fantasy owners) is that he contribute to wins now and in the future.
