[s]Anxiety[/s] Pothead -[s] reach out for help.[/s] Update- Sobriety is strange (1 Viewer)

So bumping this....

What if you don't drink or smoke but think you might be developing anxiety I had a panic attack a week ago scared the s*** out of me.

Start drinking?

I think I'm going to attempt to cut out caffeine maybe just one cup of coffee in the morning

xanax

Edit: also, cut out caffeine, get some exercise, get into daily routines, and try to "de-clutter" your life.  These are all things that have helped me in the past.

Just found this thread.  I suffer from anxiety as well but it's but I've improved over the years.  Social anxiety is what really gets me and I've missed out on a lot of opportunities because of it.  It's really on my mind right now because of another opportunity I just passed up.  I love to fish and started fishing in kayak tourneys last summer.  I just got an email yesterday saying that I made the alternate list for the national championship which is the largest kayak fishing tourney in the world.  The tourney is in Tennessee at the end of March already.  I would love to fish in something like that but I instantly got nervous, scared, and anxious.  It's just too much in too short a period of time.  I instantly thought of all the reasons why I couldn't or shouldn't do it instead of taking advantage of a great opportunity.  Even my wife told me I should.  I declined the offer and said I would try again next year.

Anxiety sucks!
