S. Moss (1 Viewer)

I haven't seen much discussion at all about S. Moss on this board. Do you think he can come close to his production from last season (WR #4 in my league last year). I'll admit Brunell looked awful in pre-season, but he's the same stiff that produced Moss' totals last year. With Saunders running the offesne and Lloyd/Randal-El keeping the d-backs honest, I think Moss has a chance to come close to last season. However, he doesn't seem to be getting much love on the boards.

We start 3 WR I have him as my WR2 (unless you think Housh should be my WR2 - it doesn't matter since both will start most of the time). What do you think?

Santana has been written off this year - seems like the majority of people think that last year was a fluke and ARE and Lloyd will eat into his numbers.

I happen to disagree - I think he will have a very solid season and will be top 10 again this year. I was lucky enough to get him as my WR#3 - I am starting him over Steve Smith this weekend - he does well on Monday nights!!!

I think you're right. Everyone seems to be saying ARE/Lloyd will spell a death knell to Moss, but are these guys even remotely close to him in terms of talent? He may get a few less catches, but I still see top 10ish numbers from him. Plus, last year wasn't his breakout season -- in 2003 he had 1100+ yds and 10 TDs with the Jets. The guy is good.

I think he will have a good year. The knock on him is that "he won't repeat last year". Because people have this so firmly entrenched in their head they all but gave up on drafting him.
