Sack in the Raiders/Eagles game (1 Viewer)

I watched the end of the game and watched this play happen.

3-7-PHI26 (9:41) D.McNabb sacked at PHI 18 for -8 yards (T.Howard, K.Morrison).

That was in the 4th quarter but the sack has only been credited to Howard. Is this one of the times when it will be changed later in the week and each player will get a 0.5 a piece?

It's possible. I don't know how their corrections are reviewed, even though it has been explained here. It seems they don't correct everything.We'll just have to wait until Thursday morning to see.Currently, Yahoo has 0 sacks for Morrison in the game.

 

[Aerial Assault]

I think there might be a statistical loophole where you can share the tackle on a sack but not get half a sack each, although that makes no sense. Curious to see if this one gets changed.

this was terrible scoring. i saw this game, saw the play and saw morrison grab mcnabb by the jersey before howard got there. morrison should have gotten the sack.

ticked me off as a morrison owner.

As bad as our line looked and the injuries give everybody on the raiders a credit for the sack

I hear you man. Being a Ray Lewis owner is frustrating some weeks because I feel like I have to beg for assist tackles sometimes. He tackled AP on the goalline twice in a row last week and on the 1st one he got a solo and then on the second one he didn't even get an assist when it was clear as day he was the only guy who touched him. I also get frustrated when your guy blitzes and has the QB in his grasp and is in the process of pulling him down and then some lineman just comes in and jumps on him and takes him down and gets credit for the entire sack. (Much like what happened on the Morrison play)
