Safety Jahmile Addae collapses at practice (1 Viewer)

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indianapolis Colts safety Jahmile Addae apparently is in good condition after being taken off the field in an ambulance this morning at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

The rookie collapsed during individual drills and immediately was tended to by team physicians. Shortly thereafter he was placed in a Terre Haute Fire Department ambulance and taken to a local hospital.

Addae was expected to be transported to a hospital in Indianapolis for further observation.

"We're still not exactly sure what happened,'' coach Tony Dungy said after the morning practice. "He was feeling a little light-headed, (so) we took him to the hospital.

"He's actually doing fine now. It wasn't from a blow, from everything we can determine. I don't think it was heat or that type of thing."

At 11 a.m., the temperature at the nearby Terre Haute International Airport was 76 degrees with 52 percent humidity.

Nothing to see here, move along.
