Saints moving in on record (1 Viewer)

No team has ever had four players gain 800 yards receiving in a season. If Reggie Bush gets 107 more receiving yards, Joe Horn gets 121 yards and Devery Henderson gets 146 yards, the 2006 Saints will be the first team to do it. Henderson seems likely to get it and Bush is very likely to do so, leaving Joe Horn's health as the biggest impediment. Only one team has ever had four players hit 750+ receiving yards in a season.

Who's the team with 4 750+?

Closest I can find is the 2000 Rams

Holt - 1635

Bruce - 1471

Faulk - 830

Az-Hakim - 734

The 1990 Oilers were far more impressive, in my opinion:

Curtis Duncan - 785

Ernest Givens - 979

Drew Hill - 1019

Haywood Jeffires - 1048

Please consider that Horn, Colston and Henderson have all missed multiple games due to injury.

Also consider:Deuce McAllister - 901

Reggie Bush - 405

Lorenzo White - 702

Allen Pinkett - 268

It's not a bad thing to not break a record, if it means you're a more balanced team. :lmao: Also, consider that all stats are through 13 games at this time.
