Would love to read some theories on this but my first thought is unless you have an elite offense you are just limiting your scoring potential. But I might be way off here.

Agreed on both points.

My thinking is that it’s a hedge and you get consolation points when drives stall in the red zone. PKs are incredibly variable so my hope is to limit that variability but I wouldn’t do this with a crappy offense. It needs to be maybe a top ten offense where I have the QB or RB. Maybe it works with WRs too but I haven’t sought to try that combo.

Of last year's top 12 fantasy kickers, 7 were attached to QB1's, while only 5 were attached to RB1's
