My wife and I are going to Vegas in a couple weeks, then directly to San Diego for 7 days. What's there to do besides chill on the beach, zoo, old town, etc.

Top of the market for lunch or dinner.

Noble experiment for excellent drinks (text them now for a reservation)

Padres game

zoo

balboa park

San Diego sports hall of fame is cool.

Tour the aircraft carrier

What do you like?  Kayaking?  hiking?  Hang gliding?  Gambling?  Golf?  Massage Parlors?  Drinking? Hookers and blow?

So many world class breweries. Alesmith, Alpine, Ballast Point, Green Flash, Pizza Port, Lost Abbey, Stone, Modern Times and like 100 others.

Yes, breweries will be a big one for us. I live in ATL so the SD brew selection is limited, but I've liked most offerings from Ballast Point, Green Flash, and Stone.

Would you recommend any of the others over those three?

There are some good ones but they are a bit north of the city either on the Hops Hwy (hwy 78) or Temecula: Belching Beaver, 8 Bit Brewing Company...

I would recommend any of the ones I mentioned. San Diego is the beer capital of America. Try some of the new ones. I promise you won't be disappointed by Pizza Port or Modern Times.
