What are we doing?

I'm pretty close to skipping them but with Kittle and Jauan hurt, I mean ...there are easy pickups off the WW.

If available, Quentin Johnston and Harold Fannin Jr. are the players to target on waivers to help you out there. As a third round rookie tight end in their debut with an established veteran tight end already on the roster, to lead your team in targets is absolutely unheard of. He looked great, and we know the upside is lethal in fantasy football with his supreme athleticsm. He's worth an aggressive amount of FAAB. Johnston also looked great in his first game of his third year, it seems like he'll be involved in the offense as the year goes on. He has big play and touchdown upside which makes him a fun weekly flex option.

What are we doing with San Francisco players
It's truly a tough call right now. With Kittle out for the next month, and now rumors that Purdy could miss multiple weeks, it will be a hard offense to trust. That said, Mac Jones kept others fantasy relevant in Jacksonville last year, so it might not be all doom and gloom. CMC and Pearsall should be fine. It changes nothing for Brian Robinson. Kendrick Bourne and Jake Tonges will be big waiver adds. Bourne is interesting because there is familiarity, and they seem to really like him, but you are never going to feel comfortable starting him. Tonges played fewer snaps than Luke Farrell, and the two are likely to split time and be TD-dependent streamers. In this situation, it's best to avoid all but CMC and Pearsall. Mac Jones can be interesting in Superflex leagues.
