just curious what you guys think of the SF wildcat. it appeared to work well last week. any word as to whether they will pull it out again next week or in future weeks?

It's a split between the wildcat and the pistol, which Kaepernick ran at Nevada where it was originated. I think they'll keep it coming.

I stand corrected. The announcers did refer to it as the wildcat a few times, but you are correct, I just watched a replay of some of the plays and it looks like the pistol was used at least as often as the wildcat when he was in there. The thing I like about using this type of offense (wildcat/pistol) is that it can tire out a defense.good posting man.

Yup. We will see it here and there going forward. Harbaugh wants to get Kaep worked into the offense more, and since it worked so well I see no reason for them not to. He also had about a 20yd run when they used it against the Vikings in week 3.

A few local writers have called it the Wild Kaep.

I think since he played at Nevada they've been calling it the Wolf Pack. And yes I see it staying, in fact with him possibly throwing passes in the formation. I don't see why not, it's a good way to put him in competitive situations instead of just mop up duty all the time.

He did attempt a bomb to Moss Sunday, and despite 3 defenders, Moss almost caught it. Dude has a howitzer of an arm.

Looked like he had more arm to go too. Was wondering if harbaugh was showcasing his tebow for rex haha

I don't know what you call this thing but it looked a lot better than anything the Jets have run.
