San Franciso Defense vs. RB's (1 Viewer)

Too call this a bust against a stiff SF defense would be crazy. Even if ballard puts up better numbers, this was a dumb thread

Verdict: Marshawn Lynch is awesome, and San Fransisco's rush defense is no longer an automatic bench for your running backs.

Next week the Niners play Arizona. I hope no one's in a situation where they're thinking about starting an Arizona RB against this defense.

I wouldn't go that far. I think this comment needs reexamination in a few weeks, I think it will be debunked.
Two backs in a row have rushed for over 100 yards. I didn't say that the 49ers rush defense isn't still very good, but I am saying that you shouldn't automatically bench a good running back when they are facing them, because it's been proven that they can be run on.Last year, I benched any RB I had when they went against them (including Lynch). This year, I'm not going to do that unless I have a clearly better option.

So Lynch had decent production, better than Ballard, but only by 2 points. Pretty negligible IMO.

Fitz is probably the only player worth starting for Arizona this week. Anyone going with a Cardinals RB?

I may have to start Howling, since its Fosters bye and TRich may not be reliable for a few weeks :bag: unless anyone can sway me that Vereen, or Tanner will be a better RB2 this week.
