Santana Moss, WR WAS

News: According to published reports, Redskins WR Santana Moss will not play on Sunday against the Bucs because of a nagging hamstring injury. Moss was downgraded to doubtful on Friday and head coach Joe Gibbs said it would be a gametime decision on whether he would play. But reports out of the Washington D.C. is that Moss will not play despite still being listed as doubtful on the injury report.

Analysis: It doesn't appear Moss will be ready for action on Sunday against the Bucs and you should go with a healthier alternative at WR for Week 11. He might be too much of a Fantasy risk if he is not 100 percent.

Washington Redskins star WR Santana Moss will miss his 2nd game in the last three contests as he continues to be slowed by a sore left hamstring. Moss acknowledged to the Washington Post that he will not play in Campbell's first start. "Every time I tried to go out, my leg would just pitter-patter," Moss told the Post, after a week of preparation for the Bucs in which he was unable to practice at full-speed. "I couldn't do anything. This is annoying the [heck] out of me."

Pretty rough for Campbell to have to start on the road against the Bucs without both Portis and Moss.

Upgrade Betts and Duckett.

Startin' to sound like Santana maybe sidelined or at least not 100% for the rest of 2006. :(
Where did you get this?
Don't know if he had a source, but it's not too hard to reach the same conclusion from following the situation. Moss has been hurting for 3 weeks. Last I heard, it has not gotten much better in that time.
Exactly. These hammy injuries can linger for awhile and only rest can heal it. Unfortunately, there is no real time to rest right now.
