still available?

Just sent this:

Wow... nice gift!  No need to pay extra for the shipping... just the actual cost.  Please send me her address and I'll calculate the actual shipping and let you know how much to PayPal me.

He just replied with an address: 5147 57th Ave, Kenosha,  WI  53144 USA
Reply, "Hey. I live right across town.  Let's meet at (get name of Kenosha coffee shop)."

I'm going back to the physical exchange idea since he gave you an address.  Kenosha, WI.  Population 99K

Still unsure of how he gets over

he sends fake money to PayPal making it seem like you got paid, but didn't?

Just replied with:

USPS is not finding that location.  Can you double check the address?  My brother actually lives 25 minutes from there... I can send to him and have him deliver it personally if you'd like.

Is there any danger in texting back and forth with a scammer? I'm bored and filled with one liners I want to use in response to this:

"Hello Thanks so much for the swift response. I will make the payment with a Cashier Check and after it clears fully i will take care of the Pick up, i am ready to offer you an extra $45 so you can keep this item for me ,If you're okay with this please provide me with your Name & Mailing address and i will have the payment issued out. Thanks"

I listed our used couch on Craigslist last month for $150.  Guy responds he is interested and would I take a cashiers check?  I said cash.  He said he wasn't local but would have movers pick up the couch.  With no other offers and thinking of just donating to Goodwill I agree to cashiers check.  He responds great, that he will throw in an extra $100 for me holding it for him.  He wants to know if he can add some funds for me to pay the movers.  Seems fishy but I play along.  I receive the envelope in the mail and the check is for $1,950.  I text him and he says I agreed to pay movers.  I tell him no chance, obviously a scam, why would he pay movers $1,700 for a used $150 couch.  He never responded.

I want to reply with either

I only take cash delivered in person or by carrier pigeon.

We could cut out the middle part of the process and I could just give you my bank account number. Would that work for you?
