Rosenfels has done as well as Schaub has and since coming to HOuston last year has put played very well. I have two questions:
1) Does anyone know Rosenfels contract situation? Could he land an opportunity to compete for a starting job somewhere else next year?
2) Schaub has played well but appears unable to stay healthy; could Rosenfels eventually compete with him in Houston?
Kubiac appears willing to play the best player and doesn't seem to worry about pecking order or status when making lineup decisions.
I am wondering if Rosenfels isn't a bad sleeper in deep dynasty leagues. There was a discussion in the Dynasty Ranking thread about dynasty QBs and Beck and one issue that came up is how unlikely it is for ANY rookie QB to become a good fantasy QB. One poster suggested it makes more sense to pick up guys who have been on the bench for a while and who are ready to step up but who have been overlooked as they have a better chance to succeed. Just wondering if a guy like Rosenfels doesn't fit that description given how effectively he has played. What other QBs who are not starting right now fit that description and are likely sitting on your waiver wire waiting to be plucked BEFORE they get signed to a starting gig somewhere next year?
