last week's news made it sound like it would be week 13 at the VERY earliest ... i will be shocked if i hear he is even questionable for week 12 based on last week's update

I've heard nothing to indicate Schaub is going to play this week.

There'll be more after the practice reports, but I would be counting on Schaub just yet.

No link, but I thought I heard the announcers on yesterdays game say that Schaub didn't even get off crutches until a few days ago.

Weren't they still deciding if he could even fly with the team due to swelling? Week 12 seems unlikely. I'm just hoping he's there for the (fantasy) playoffs.

yea they were saying how he just got off crutches this week. doubt he comes back week 12.

i don't know if i'd be counting on him. he will be rusty and facing a tough schedule.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak revealed Monday that Matt Schaub's recovery from a torn MCL is behind schedule and he could miss four more weeks.

If you haven't dropped Schaub already, feel free. In a best-case scenario he'll return in Week 16 at Oakland and finish out Week 17 against Chicago. This is bad for Owen Daniels, whose production has fallen off drastically with Sage Rosenfels under center the last two weeks. Andre Johnson's numbers have also taken a hit.
