Schedule for a 16 man league, weeks 1-13, play two opponents each week (1 Viewer)

My league recently expanded to 16 teams. We play two "head to head" matchups each week. The commissioner wants to hand pick the match ups each week, which, isn't a good solution. I went to the FBG scheduler page, but, couldn't find the criteria for:

16 teams

Two "head to head" matchups each week

Weeks 1-13

I realize that some teams may only play one time, but, I'm just trying to figure out a random process to make the schedule. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Maybe I'm making this too simple, but why not go

1 vs 2

1 vs 3

etc...

next week

1 vs 4

1 vs 5

and just increase each week and repeat... then fill in the names... Pretty easy in excel.

On the other hand, if you have 4 divisions, then I can help you there with my league schedule. We play division members twice and everyone else once... 18 games total. We have 5 double headers.

If I go 1 vs 2 and 1 vs 3, 2 obviously has to match up against 1, so, can't do 2 vs 3 and 4. We don't have divisions, but, thanks for the offer.

Okay.. .here's the easiest way to do it.

Go to MFL (www.myfantasyleague.com) and set up a test league. Set it at 16 teams then go through the schedule maker and choose 13 week season, 16 teams with doubleheaders each week. It'll build you a custom schedule where you play 4 teams once and 11 teams twice with doubleheaders in all weeks.

I assume you have 4 divisions of 4? Either way teams should be podded up into groups of 4.

You play all teams in your division twice. (6 games)

You play all teams in 2 other divisions twice (16 games)

You play all teams in 1 other division once (4 games)

Btw, I think I've worked out a schedule. You'd just have to have the commish randomize the weeks.

DM me an e-mail address and I'll send you an excel file
