Scheduling help (1 Viewer)

Our 12 year old dynasty league ran into a draft day scheduling nightmare this year. Couldn't get all the guys together until this upcoming Monday (after week 1). I'm looking for some creative help on how we can still keep a 4 week playoff schedule (13-16), play your division opponents twice (12 team, 2 conferences, 4 divisions) while completely skipping week 1. I've checked FBG and other site's schedule makers and can't find anything. Not opposed to throwing a double header in somewhere considering the circumstances. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ya'll

So you want 4 division games (playing your 2 division opponents twice) and I assume you want to play the non-division opponents (9) all once over the span of an 11-week regular season (NFL weeks 2 through 12).  So 13 games over 11 weeks -- just schedule 2 doubleheaders for each team over those 11 weeks. It's not going to be something you can find a canned schedule and use,  but  I would think it's fairly easy to customize a schedule for that.  One  quick idea would be to first lay in your 11 week season of each team playing each other once (11 total opponents over the 11 weeks). Then go back and add the two extra division games as double header weeks, making sure not to schedule the doubleheader in a week that the team also plays another division opponent. That way if the team has a really bad week, they aren't double penalized in the division race by losing two games within the division. And the double headers don't all have to be in the same week for all divisions.  Division A could have an A1 vs. A3 in Week 2; A2 vs. A3 in Week 7 and A1 vs. A2 in Week 10.  while Division B could be B1 vs. B3 in Week 3, B2 vs. B3 in Week 6 and B1 vs. B2 in Week 12.  Spreading them out probably will give you better leeway to prevent having doubleheader matchups of two divisional opponents.  Good luck!
