Kazmir is teh suck this season and I'm done waiting for him to get his act together.

Here is a short list of SP that I'm considering dropping Kazmir for:

Josh Outman

Manny Parra

Doug Davis

Jorge De La Rosa

Barry Zito

Can you guys help me out? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks. :scared:

He'll probably be on the DL before the end of the month so I wouldn't drop him. Have your eye on Parra and De La Rosa whenever he is DL'd.

You suspect there's something wrong with him healthwise? That'd explain a lot. Dude's been horrible.

Yes, his fastball is down almost 2 mph from last year. For a guy that relies on a power fastball, that is what is making all the difference in his stats this year. Until that shoulder gets some rest and/or rehab, the stats should come back.Whatever you do, don't drop him for any of those guys. You do have a bench don't you?The season is still early yet.

Yeah.I'll prolly start him on Monday and see what happens. My other SPs are good enough that they can offset a single bad game... I hope. It'd help me out if he went to the DL.

I don't root for guys to be injured, but maybe now they can try to fix the problem. So, who should I add now? :censored:

Both De La Rosa and Parra have bouts of wildness and control problems. If Parra does well tonight I'd go with him until proven otherwise (if you can still add and use him tonight by all means do it), I realize De La Rosa's blow up was just one inning but with these types of pitchers one bad inning can domino. Parra' pitched pretty well this month after an awful start, ride the hot streak.

De La Rosa is a solid option, but I think Manny Parra is the real deal. He should be rostered in all leagues and will be by the end of the season.
