Yes. He actually had a very good preseason and surprised people by NOT making the roster as the anticipated 6th WR (they only kept 5). And Zorn's system = Holmgren's system.Wasn't he with the Skins in the preseason? He is terrible.
This is why he was signed IMO. I expect Seneca Wallace to either start or get a ton of reps at WR this weekend. He is now by far the most explosive weapon we have and probably knows the offense more than anyone.Yes. He is terrible.
Probably because he can do more than just run around in circles...how is this an upgrade over Jordan Kent?
Ditto! After he didn't make the final roster, most people were wondering what a person had to do to make it, he was very pleasant surprise during the pre-season.Yes. This is good news.McMullen was a STUD at UVA and should of made the Redskins roster. Only reason he didn't is because they had to have room for the two Rooks. I bet after a game or two, Seahawk fans will start falling for him...
This will make 3 teams that he will suck for. 40 receptions in 5 years. Hmmm, somehow I don't think anyone will be falling for this guyMcMullen was a STUD at UVA and should of made the Redskins roster. It's also probably an overstatement, but he can be a competent possession WR in the WCO and may be able to contribute in deep FF leagues as a bye week/injury fill-in.This is good news.McMullen was a STUD at UVA and should of made the Redskins roster. Anyone that starts Billy McMullen on their fantasy teams, bye week filler or not, should be immeadiatley removed from the league, or at the very least penalized for tanking. It's also probably an overstatement, but he can be a competent possession WR in the WCO and may be able to contribute in deep FF leagues as a bye week/injury fill-in.This is good news.McMullen was a STUD at UVA and should of made the Redskins roster. he's 28. UVA was a long time ago, and in the meantime he couldn't make an active roster in 3 out of 5 years. This is good news.McMullen was a STUD at UVA and should of made the Redskins roster. That makes you sound very authoritative when you talk that way, Johnny.Anyone that starts Billy McMullen on their fantasy teams, bye week filler or not, should be immeadiatley removed from the league, or at the very least penalized for tanking. It's also probably an overstatement, but he can be a competent possession WR in the WCO and may be able to contribute in deep FF leagues as a bye week/injury fill-in.This is good news.McMullen was a STUD at UVA and should of made the Redskins roster. I seriously doubt it. I've seen most of his games with the Eagles, and he's B-A-D. he was dealt for an undrafted FA (Baskett) when Childress went to MIN to coach. He lasted 1 year there. It's also probably an overstatement, but he can be a competent possession WR in the WCO and may be able to contribute in deep FF leagues as a bye week/injury fill-in.This is good news.McMullen was a STUD at UVA and should of made the Redskins roster. Overall, not sure what people expect when teams are giving try outs to guys who did not make a team or practice squad. these guys all some version of spare, that if the team gets any significant production out of it is more lucky than good or smart.Anyone looking for the next Fitzgerald or Marshall should look elsewhere. Anyone in a 12-16 team league, starting 3 WR might get a serviceable player after a week or two of learning the terminology.
Nope.Purely a depth move I'd imagine. Does he return kicks?
Seattle is f'edAny Eagles homers care to give insight?![]()
I was hoping they'd either go after Koren robinson - to at least give them another return option who know the terminology, or to sign somebody young with upside (or keep Kent active). McMullen really solves no problems for the Seahawks, other than being listed at "WR".Overall, not sure what people expect when teams are giving try outs to guys who did not make a team or practice squad. these guys all some version of spare, that if the team gets any significant production out of it is more lucky than good or smart.Anyone looking for the next Fitzgerald or Marshall should look elsewhere. I would guess that Koren has burned a bridge or two with that organization, even though he is one of better names to come up in this type of situation.I was hoping they'd either go after Koren robinson - to at least give them another return option who know the terminology, or to sign somebody young with upside (or keep Kent active).
