I mean, a 4th and 6th round draft picks aren't the most substantial pieces, but they are definitely something and Seattle literally just gave them away. It's truly bizarre and there's gotta be something exceptional for him to be cut so quickly. Either way, this is not a great start for the new Seattle coaching staff.

Yes, it seems that way. I thought I had read they just traded those picks away. That said, it's still odd to actually do any draft day trading for a player and drop him 1 month later.

Tennessee Titans: Acquire picks No. 104 and 176 in 2010

Seattle Seahawks: Acquire picks No. 111 and 185 in 2010, RB LenDale White and DT Kevin Vickerson.

They slid down 7 and 9 slots in those two rounds and also acquired Vickerson.

In 1985 Seattle selected RB Owen Gill from Iowa in the 2nd round. He never played a down for the team and was cut before the start of the season.

Aside from the fact that they actually didn't give up much at all for him, they knew about the suspension already before the trade (or so it's been reported).

What happened to him? He had two pretty decent seasons as a backup in Indy (averaged 5.8 ypc his last season).

Green Bay took DT Neal in the 2nd and then traded a 4th in the 3rd to move up and take Morgan Burnett.

Switch those picks and TT would have a 4th. For someone who only does the draft he was very sloppy this year.
