Second tier of RBs (1 Viewer)

What runners should be the next few to go after the big 3

in a league with 1 PPR

With PPR, Tiki has to be well-ranked. Lamont Jordan, Steven Jackson, and Dom Davis also jump higher in that second tier.

actually my league is a ppr and players on keeper are LJ (mine)

Rudi, McGahee and Domanick

I am thinking POrtis, Tiki, JOrdan, Jackson

My favorite of all is Jackson as I think he could do the best but if Bulger gets hurt, he tends to not do so well- Bulger seems to get hurt every season

If it's not PPR, after the first three it goes:

Portis

SJax

Lamont

Tiki

Edge

Good list, Mr. H.I agree with this tier after the big 3 RBs. I might even throw D Davis in there, as well. And Westbrook can't be too far behind.

EDIT: Oops, I was thinking PPR.

Ronnie Brown is an excellent pick. If Caddy Williams caught passes and Allstott was not there- I think he would be the best of the lot after the big 3, but since they are there, he has to be moved down.

I would put Portis right on the cusp of slotting into the top three. I feel Alexander will stumble a little this year with the loss of Hutchinson and the offensive line in front of Portis is amongst the best in football.

1(a) Tomlinson

1(b) L.Johnson

3(a) Alexander

3(b)Portis

distant #5 - Barber

In a PPR league I'd put Ronnie Brown and DD up their with the other guys.

Then i wish i was in your leage.. with a new coach, a new qb ( maybe Harrington)this guy should be 12-15.

Tiki and portis are the obvious 4-5

Ahhh the first law of ripping on someone is.....Make sure you don't look stupid while doing it and guess what. You failed this test. Learn how to spell before you want to be in "my league" then say they have a new O coordinator coach instead of just a new coach and then try to remember that getting a new qb might not be such a bad thing. Now go to the corner of the room and play the quiet game with yourself.

We probably don't agree on who the big 3 is, since you failed to mention yore choices. Dom is going to be *HOT* this year, with a drooling Kubiak , and WR Moulds tossed in as support. i'm tired of the hype about Reggie "Ain't a RB" Bush, and the talk about trading the 1.01 to "the Jets"!!! Reggie is a scat-back, and the Jets never made an offer to Houston for that scat-back...as in, they *ALSO* were not willing to pay to pay him what he was foolishly expecting. The Saints have him, and 2 other good RB's in case he wants to hold out, so Reggie has lost millions of Gringo Dollars already, and stands to lose even more with a hold-out.

i like LaDainian and 'Da Edge a lot this year...which makes my big 3 list.

Dom and 'Da Edge should come cheaper than most on that Second tier of RBs list, so humble me will land one of them in my Auction League, and i already have Dom in my Dynasty League. Thusly, the so-called Third Tier of RB's will be the focus of my humble attention, after i have landed either Dom or 'Da Edge, and i pick RB's that will score whilst rushing a lot...let someone else bid on Tiki and Clinton and etc.

i am going to load up with lots of RB's this year, and some will be able to catch a football...so to speak.

i guess it is my fault that I did not specify the BIG three- but going by most assessments, I was referring to Tomlinson, Alexander and Johnson. Some may disagree, but I think these three would be a majority choice.

This guy might be a ####, but I agree with 4 and 5.And that seems like the consensous top 5 no matter the order.

Beyond that you can make an argument for SJax, Edge, D.D., Westy, Ronnie, Caddy, McGahee... though I'd say Jordan is next.

I like Steven Jackson this year. I think he's a more proven talent than a lot of these guys and I expect him to get a little more work now that Martz is gone. He's a good receiver, so he has the potential to put up some big stats.

I think Ronnie Brown might just be this year's Kevin Jones and I think the Miami Dolphins might be this year's Detroit Lions. Daunte Culpepper is mediocre without Moss. Chambers is a nice WR, but he caught less than 50% of his targets. I know Brown was the #2 pick in the draft, but I see a lot of risk with him. He really only had a couple good games and he also had plenty of bad ones. His supporting cast is overrated, and I just don't see him having the monster year that some are expecting.

Cadillac should be solid, but unspectacular. He needs to get those goal line touches.
