Selling pieces for the WSOP $10,000 Main Event (1 Viewer)

I posted this in the Ivey/DN thread without any responses so I thought I would make my own thread.

I'm selling action for the WSOP main event though. Have around 10-15% left I want to sell. Will be playing Day1C this Monday.

If someone wants to post my online results, please do so. Was too lazy to register a new email with official poker ranking (OPR) and always had a pokerdb subscription when I played online. Online name was gametymer. Stars results are way better than on FTP. Think I was +$50k on stars mostly playing $55 tourneys and lower, with some $109's usually mixed in on Sunday's along with the Sunday Million. On FTP, would play up to the $75 MTT's along with their Sunday majors usually.

1% - $120

5% - $600

10% - $1200

The issue people had last year that Assani smoked weed on break, and I'm definitely not taking a shot at him), so there's no need to be concerned with that at all. It's markup and almost everyone charges it. If you don't remember, last year Assani sold for the main here and he did the same thing, though he charged more for just a 1% take. There's a few people I've seen tier their markup for people buying a larger piece like he did last year as well.

But back on topic, part of it's what cjw said, the other part is the expectant ROI in your package/tournament. I think I could cash in this tourney 30% of the time, but I feel like I also gain more value and buyers selling at 20% markup instead.

3rd. Busted day 1 first try. Got in QQ vs AQdd to get back to 30k and did not win.

Last year, busted early in day 3 jamming like 21bb vs someone active with K8hh < 99.

I mean, maybe, but I feel confident in cashing a large tournament with a bunch of amateurs playing. At worst, 20% is very fair.

1. I run six fantasy leagues. Some of those people are on the forum here that would vouch if need be that they receive their winnings in a timely manner. I get backed for all of my tourneys up to $2,000 by my backer.

2. I have an actual job at the airport, but do play cash on the side for extra income. I did play professionally for a couple of years, but the gf and I wanted a steadier income for me. I moved from Miami up near Cincinnati to stay with family while I started playing online as my main source of income, then came out to Vegas after Black Friday.

3. LOL, no idea, dependent on outfit for that day. I don't like how my Reds hat fits frontward so I usually wear my UW Badgers hat when I do wear a hat when I play.

i'd need to know that you've been on an incredibly bad spell of late and if you were due for a lot of Aces and Kings.

How's your ratio doing lately... you get aces every 169 hands... how's that going for you?

Have you been delivering or receiving bad beats of late.. I need to know what you're due for.

If you haven't had aces in like 1000 hands and have received a lot of bad beats of late then you might be worth backing.. it's all about what's due to come your way and if you're preselected by the poker gods....

I swear the tournaments I won it was because things just fell right and i crushed the ####### deck.... as long as my play was sound it was always the luck that put it over the top for me.

In addition how are you doing on scenarios... like the last time you got aces did you end up just raising pre-flop and getting no action? or did you win a big hand?

You could be just due to get AA and get zero action.. this is much more important to me than your quality of play.

The $1.20 is expensive, but for 1% investments you will get on a message board that's not an issue.

If you cash at any level, how does it work tax wise for us? Do we get paid on the gross and classify it as winnings on our own? Or do we get paid back on net...and then are clear on 4/15? Any issues with depositing a check by this method (if god willing, you make it far)?

Money! Haha. Fwiw, when I make the November 9, you all will be paid out 9th place money that is received after playing the main in July.

I've only had to deal with my backer when winning large sums of money so it's just been me giving him my receipts for tourneys, and then me getting back the paperwork from his CPA and filing out mine afterwards. I could give you guys any paperwork that you need to declare winnings if need be. Shouldn't be any issues cashing checks.

Same as here, r0llin_game. I don't post there, or at least, haven't in forever. I use to be on Negreanu's FCP forum a while ago, but there was an incident that made a few of the members branch off and create their own poker forum which I post/read regularly.
