Selvin Young-RB-Broncos Dec. 5 - 5:40 pm et

Selvin Young (arm) practiced without limitations Wednesday.

Young's arm is only bruised, so there was never much concern about his status for Week 14. He figures to share carries with Travis Henry, who is also healthy, when Denver hosts the Chiefs this week. It's uncertain who will start.

I didnt want to hear that . I was hoping he would be out . Now i have to decide which RB to start Young or Henry . This could be a NIGHTMARE

Selvin Young (bruised elbow) and Andre Hall (ankle) both worked without restrictions at Broncos practice Wednesday.

Hall admitted to feeling "a little pain" in his return from a high ankle sprain, but wasn't immediately sore and could return to his third-string job with Travis Henry and Young both healed. Hall's main role against Kansas City will likely be on kick returns and as insurance behind Denver's top two backs. Dec. 5 - 5:39 pm et

hall doesnt need to be in the equation hear. he wont see the field if both henry and young suit up.

As long as Henry is healthy he is the starter and will see no less than 15 carrys, Young will see 9 or 10 carries but Henry will be the goal line back.

Does this mean it's safe to drop Hall now? I'm feeling a bit nervous now that I only have 3 Denver RBs on my roster.

Why do we think Henry will start? Despite the news that Henry would start last week, didn't Young get the first touches?

We will never have any idea whats going on in Shanny's head until kickoff and its too late. Why did I draft a Denver RB???? Henry did score twice last week, which could put him in the starting line up, but Young did start last week when he was healthy. Someone needs to hang Shanny from a balcony by his feet until he gives us a definitive answer. Suge Knight style....

I was reading the play by play on that drive and you're right. Selvin actually did get the start, I remember being surprised at hearing that after the news prior to the game said that Henry would start. Henry got his first carry right near the redzone and got every carry on that drive in the redzone. Maybe that was his gametime warmup? :dunno: But he did get the majority of carries, so one week healthier = 20 carries?I don't know, maybe I better get Fred Jackson after all.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that Selvin Young hurt his knee on the opening drive so Travis Henry came in for him. Selvin Young later returned, but injured his arm and I think he left the game for good. I'm not saying that Henry wouldn't have seen his share of carries, but I think he only received the majority of carries because of the injuries to Young. Hard to know who this is going to pan out from here on out.

Didn't watch, was only looking at play-by-play, so I can't answer that.

Just saw this about last week as well.

Rotoworld: Travis Henry is not on the Broncos' Week 14 injury report.Impact: He says he was about 80% in Week 13, but should be closer to full strength against the Chiefs.
That may be why Selvin got the late start.

He should be closer to full strength so he should be closer to starting? Does this mean he'll come in after the first series? Shanny usually gives his top guy the majority of the carries but after naming Young the starter last week, I'm a tad nervous this weekend. Why must he start this nonsense as we begin our fantasy playoffs?

Young has started four games this season and has been unable to finish three of them as the primary ballcarrier.

Just a little something to consider if you're pondering starting him.

:dunno: Grasping at straws here, and hoping the Bills rest Lynch. For the season.

injuries and players being dinged up for NFL teams is difficult, however coaches are able to put a positive spin on it by keeping the team they are getting ready to play guessing on who is healthy and available to play.....so teams have to gameplan against different guys, especially if they have different running styles and different plays called for them...I know I would if I were a coach.....so as we know, sorry to tell most of you but in situations like this...

you will never know before the game, what is going to happen....any information you get may or may not mean squat.....
