Agree, but may leave out the 'talented' part. I don't think he's anything special.A talented back who won't have an appreciable fantasy impact unless at least two other guys get hurt.
Totally disagree.Dude is averaging over 5 1/2 YPC this season.Talented RB for certain, doesn't have the toughnessto ever carry the load in the NFL.Much better NFL back than a Fantasy back.Agree, but may leave out the 'talented' part. Dump his butt..and get rid of the headache with that Denver backfield and coach!Your thoughts on Selvin Young the rest of the season??
Being a Broncos fan in a pretty deep league, it was painful to drop him this week. But as far as I'm concerned...
He's useless for the next three weeks: This week he's out, next week he'll be eased in against the Patriots, followed by a bye week...But wouldn't you know it, Ryan Torain will be back after the bye week; another cook in the kitchen. His short-term value is shot and it's hard to imagine him to top 10 carries/week in the later weeks.
At this point, I'd pick up Maurice Morris, Cedric Benson, or Rudi Johnson over Young.
Same here. Bailed quickly and picked up Slatonsuxcut him week 2.
Slaton was available on the WW in your league?Didnt your sister or pet goldfish draft him?Same here. Bailed quickly and picked up Slatonsuxcut him week 2.
Fixed.Frankly, I'm not sure he's as good as Bell was in his best moments with the Broncos.Selvin Young= Tatum Bell
Hypothetically speaking, in a 10-team league with smaller rosters (and possibly caps on certain positions), it's not outrageous for him to have been on the WW following a 43-yard effort in Week 1 and no game in Week 2.JAA said:Slaton was available on the WW in your league?Didnt your sister or pet goldfish draft him?the spanker said:Same here.
