Also, Dan PM'ed me when it was my time to pick. I think this is a great idea. Send the guy picking after you a PM (or text) if you have their number, after you pick. Takes a few seconds and will keep things moving.

Why would the clock stop? If it's your pick and you can't pick at night I think everyone would understand, but, no reason to hold anyone else up IMO. (fwiw, I sleep at night too)

Beavers and Chain both have my contact info. A PM here goes to my gmail that "dings" my phone just like a text does too.

I'm about to get on a plane. I would buy the wifi on the plane but it's probably not worth it just fit the shtick of it

 
I don't know if it's a factor, but the pick number is off and has been for a few picks. Brees was 2.10 not 2.09. We are at pick 2.11, Lumpy is OTC.

yeah, a slow draft sounded like a real good idea at first. nice and relaxed pace. but not sure this is the way to go. I think we either go with a slow draft or a light-speed draft. pick every 5 minutes, and if you miss you can get skipped up to one round.

 
In other's defense, this wasn't exactly the most structured league. Which was fine with me since my "fun" league was disbanded last year. I was looking forward to the schtick factor in this league. We never really discussed anything as far as having a clock. I like the 9-9 window with 2 hour time limit. We could probably go later than 9pm even, maybe 10 or 11 o'clock. 2 hours is more than enough time during the day to see who was picked and make a pick.

I don't like the idea of skipping picks. I don't want someone potentially stepping back in when I'm on the clock and I miss the dude I want after I had nothing wrong.

 
The timing doesn't bother me at all.

Evan Longoria not getting a hit with RISP in 3 ####### years? that bothers me.
