Just voted a lot for Michael Young and Votto. Young plays a tougher position than Swisher, has similar stats and he's one of the most underrated players in baseball.

Its an interesting choice by Girardi. If A-Rod had been left to a fan vote, there would have been no groundswell for the guy, so he chose him with his managers pick. But I will say this, NY fans have never gotten the vote out before, the only Yankee to ever win this was Matsui with a huge Japanese voting block going for him.

Wow, I was wrong, and that is wrong that they didn't invite him.

But I think the bigger issue is, they never have teammates do this thing, so why is Vernon Wells going over Batista?

Not to defend or justify swish, I just think they like to represent as many teams as possible. I am surprised, in the past I recall them going down the AS HR leader list. Bad job out of baseball.
