Why is it still messed up?

Is it that hard to fix or just laziness?

Seems like a fairly basic function of a message board but obviously I am missing a link here.

The best way to search is to use Google. If you want to search the FBG message board for "dandelion", you would type the following into the Google search box:

site:forums.footballguys.com dandelion

It'd be nice if the search function here worked better, but that workaround is pretty effective.

FWIW...I have used the search function a few times and it seems to be much improved. 

However, there is a big issue with quotes/nested comments losing their original author name....is this going to be fixed somehow or is this lost to the ages? And if so...does that mean we will no longer be able to find old posts by using the search by author?

When I try to search for a specific word in post posted by a specific user...I am not getting any results pre-board update.

If you haven't tried the Search Function since early after the last Bored Upgrade, the thing has actually come a long way. Props.
