I guess it's a good thing I don't know who is in my lineup either.

I stopped watching or even box score checking all night games. I'll box score surf the next morning. These late games always kept me up way too late. Would be like 1am before I fell asleep. Way to late on a work night at my age.

In 8 leagues no way to remember who is on which squad and, especially, which of these same players are going AGAINST me in which leagues. Definitely makes watching football for the excitement and fun of it easier when you can’t practically track every single player and stat for and against.

Moral of the story: every one should join 6-8 leagues asap

This is how I feel.

2-4 leagues is confusing as you'll be cheering for a guy on your roster but also playing against him in another. Once you hit 8-10 leagues, it's so overwhelming and impossible to track, that I actually get back to enjoying all of the games. I don't even check fantasy until the late games on Sunday, sometimes not even until the Sunday nighter.

After not playing in leagues for five years and just messing with DFS on Sundays, I promised myself I'd keep it to 5 leagues a couple years ago. Well, I'm in 8. I like it. I'm enjoying all of them. Have plenty of time to manage them. 10am Sunday I fire up RedZone and pretty much stick with it to the end while monitoring live scoring in the leagues. I know exactly who I'm facing, how I'm doing, what I need, and all that makes watching way more fun than being oblivious. On a different TV or maybe my tablet, I'll put on games that have the best fantasy action. The NFL product as a stand alone without fantasy is awful. I'd probably spend Sundays off-roading in the desert or gardening if not for fantasy. My BiL is in a wheelchair. My sis used to drop him off at church Sunday mornings and he'd spend most his day there helping, but he tithed too much, so she drops him off at my place for RedZone. We have a blast yelling at the TVs, and I showed him how online books work. Now he gambles too much.

Well I actually had Puka and for some reason didnt start him.

I understand why not starting him was a thing, but I sure didn't agree with it. I rushed to the only league I have him in to get him in the lineup before kick off.

As for what league I care about the most, um, that's not really a thing beyond having too much at stake in one (6-1 woot woot), and one that starts 22 w/11 idps (6-1 woot woot). Rudnicki will boat race me this week though. Then there's 4 that are all kind of the same in my mind. This league is one of those, similar to two other long standing FBG leagues, and the family league. I wanna beat y'all the same. The bottom two would be the others like this one. Not as interesting when I don't know the guys.

This league is fun for me because of the zero RB draft. At 5-2 so far so good, but I think that's more a product of me being healthier than most. Lost Nabers for two games and now Evans for a month or so, but that's not so bad in comparison.

This is my first exposure to sleeper. It's been wonderful. Really like the interface. Hasn't frozen for me. It does occasionally get confused and stuck in weird views that i got to back out of but its a quick fix. My only real concern is how dark it is. I'm used to it now but would love non black.

Appreciate and respect very much, competing against you guys this season. Well my draft “strategy”, if you want to call it that, isn’t doing too well. Sitting at 2-5. I guess the TE heavy drafting will be my undoing, as many commented on during the draft. My squad looks decent on paper, so maybe there is still a chance. I’m going up against another 2-5 squad of @LawFitz and I like my chances.

As for volume of leagues, I’m sitting at an even dozen, with four of them being best ball, so the pressure is off on those for weekly lineup setting.

Been decades since I used MFL so hard for me to compare. MFL was my first ever website for league. Literally GAME CHANGING. Before MFL commish had to add point totals from these things called newspapers and put on graph paper. Ha ha

Sleeper app is very sleek on my android phone. I just wish it defaulted to last page viewed instead of the weekly matchup.

I’m an old man (54) … I like my things the way they are. MFL is all I know. All of my leagues are on that site … it’s simple. I like simple!

I miss those old days of buying the USA Today and throwing away the entire paper except for the sports, so I could update the league Lotus 123 spreadsheet.

I’m older than you by a couple of year and i commished 2 dynasty leagues on mfl…

And I ran away from MFL as fast as there was a viable option. MFL was the opposite of simple imho (maybe it’s improved over the past 3-4 years). Took 2 or 3 tries to get the waivers working correctly every season. Ugh. Hated it.

I wasn’t a great manager by starting purdy over stafford and benching Ridley—but I thought I could get away with those bad decisions 2/3rd of the way through the 49ers vs cowboys game. At that point, the 49ers decided to stop playing any defense and CeeDee took full advantage and my hopes were shattered. I was hoping for a close match and ended up getting my butt kicked. Thank you sir. Last week I was Toilet Bowl, this week high score. You can't ever tell how it's going to go these days. You've got a great team and consistently score high points. Kind of shocking how Lamb just blew up all of a sudden when it looked bleak for me.

This is a tough league but I'm enjoying it more than any other league I've played in recently. Thank you guys for letting me play along.
