Ladies and gentleman:

THE NEW YORK JETS!!!!!!!!

1. They've already had their bye

2. They are likely available on the WW

3. Their schedule is the following (fumbles/INTs/sacks):

vs. Cincy (4/7/14)

@Oakland (5/1/10)

vs. KC (2/8/15)

@ Buff (6/3/16)

vs. StL (2/3/13)

@ NE (3/3/16)

@ Tenn (3/5/2)

vs. Den (4/4/2)

@ SF (6/6/20)

vs. Buff (6/3/16)

@ Seattle (3/4/9)

4. Out of those 10 teams, 6 out of them are among the 10 most sacked teams (including 2 of the worst 3 and 5 of the worst 7): SF (20 sacks), Buff x2 (16 sacks), NE (16), KC (15), Cincy (14), StL (13)

5. Out of those 10 teams, 6 of them are in the bottom half of INT's including 2 of the worst 3: KC (8), Cincy (7), SF (6), Tenn (5), Den (4), Seattle (4)

6. Out of those 10 teams, 8 of them with 3+ fumbles including the 3 league leaders: Buff x2 (6), KC (6), Cincy (5)

7. Ouf of those 10 teams, they make up 5 of the 8 lowest scoring teams in the NFL: StL (10.8), KC (13), Cincy (14.8), Oakland (19.5), NE (19.8)

When you look at fantasy points allowed to D/ST, these teams listed with the exception of Tenn and Denver are among the worst in the league.

GO GRAB THE JETS!!!

huh. wonder if anyone mentioned this in the week 6 waiver wire thread.
Congratulations. You listed them in the week 6 waiver thread. Did that need a "huh"? First, I didn't check that thread. Secondly, all you did was name them. I actually attempted to break down a good bit of information as to WHY and included their schedule. But thanks for stopping by.

Agreed, I picked up Miami for a one week filler, but the Jets do have some promise to be useful from time to time...

One issue that might offset the generally weak O's that the Jets face down the stretch is the fact that they are not a very strong pass defense this year, and are giving up tons of yards through the air.

I can see teams like Cincy, NE, Denver, San Fran and Seattle -- possibly even the Rams -- exploting this deficiency.

Otherwise, odds are stacked in their favor. Scooped them up myself this week to have some options to platoon with P'burgh.

all that research to find stats that show that the worst teams in the league make better matchups...that must have been exhausting. can't wait until you break down the Vikings matchup this week.

that is a joke. his profile says that for everyone no matter who you are.

Waiver system runs Wednesday night.

I just picked up the Jets..........the CIN matchup was just to inviting.

I'm not worried about yards, or for that matter points, given up. In both of my leagues that use team D the yardage and points settings are so ridiculously low almost no one gets points from either. You pretty much have to have a shutout or hold the O to around 150 yards total to get a couple of points. The points mostly come from turnovers, sacks and defensive/ST TD's. The td's are like playing the lottery but sacks and turnovers can be relied on a little more.

Thanks Gianmarco! I was all bummed out because I dropped the Vikes D last week and just missed out on picking up the Skins this week. Now all I can do is hope I can get the Jets. I'm scared of the Pats matchup with the Chargers this week.

Ignore the guy who's negative here. I really appreciate the research you did here!

 jets were the obvious waiver wire pickup this week with the bengals coming to town. Perry has 5 fumbles in 5 games.

Good stuff, Gianmarco.

I grabbed the Jets in one league, and the Redskins in another.

Great matchups for both teams going forward.

.

picked up 2 weeks ago when I saw cinni week 6, they may be starting more than just this week for me. Threads like this usually backfire, expect a stinker this week...
