Shaun Alexander increase in receptions? (1 Viewer)

I was looking over the news bites from the Seahawks.

Does anyone else project a significant increase in receptions for Shaun Alexander this season?

With Jeremy Stevens out the first 6 weeks.

Itula Milli limping into the regular season.

Darrell Jackson walking around in shorts and t-shirt all summer with a very questionable knee.

Nate Burleson reported to have had some problems getting his groove on in Seattle. (no link but i have read reports that if DJ were 100% he would be #3 behind Engram.)

Doesn't this add up to Hasselbeck looking to Alexander for a handful more targets each week?

Just anecdotal stuff on message boards? A specific newspaper? Curious to hear where you read these reports. I'm not trying to instigate a fight. I've had the same thoughts and wanted to know who agrees with me. The problem this preseason has been Hackett's hamstring, so its been tough to say it's a fair comparison.

Given that he had 15 for 78 yards last year, he could probably see a significant increase leaving the locker room. I expect at least a 50% increase.

i understand your point. i don't know the answer. from june 1 until i draft i am reading anything and everything to help give me an edge on draft day so i don't remember where i read it. i know it is important to know the source, but i do tuck every nugget away in the back of my pea brain.

Last year Seattle had serious problems at reciever with DJax out. SA still had 8 less receptions than he did the previous year.

:goodposting:SA just doesn't seem to be that kind of RB.
