Ryan O'Halloran, of The Washington Times, reports Washington Redskins CB Shawn Springs (abdomen) missed practice Saturday, Sept. 9, and is out for Week 1.
I'm looking for an stand-in for Steve Smith this week. Does Shawn Springs' injury upgrade Troy Williamson significantly in anyone's minds? My other alternative is TE Ben Watson for NE.
