If the question is "does it make sense to have two pass-catchers from the same team in your starting lineup," the answer (for me) is "It doesn't make sense to purposely take a worse player in order to avoid it."

If you think the best available guy is on the same team as a different "best available guy" you took earlier...that's the way it shakes out.

A guy is not going to to better or worse over the course of the season because you have his teammate on your fantasy football team. If you think he's the best guy at his position available then you take him.

The only reason not to IMO is if Rivers got injured you'd be hurting at two spots.

I might bump VJ down a little bit due to that risk but not much. For example, I currently rank VJ slightly above Jennings, Wayne, Austin and Wallace but in the same tier; I might take those guys instead if I had Gates. But I don't bump him down into the next tier.
