Should I pick up Theriot? (1 Viewer)

Rolen is absolutely killing me.

My team is struggling on runs and SB. Thinking I can move Bill Hall over to 3B, dump Rolen, and pick up Theriot and throw him in at SS.

Thoughts? Is Rolen going to come around? My HR and RBIs are tops in the league so if Rolen does come around, I assume that's the area he will contribute to the most. So I guess I'm really not missing him right now.

Rolen has no reason to be playing the way he's playing other than that is as good as he is anymore. He is injury free and just isn't the same hitter. Plus the Cardinals as a team aren't hitting. That means even if he gets hot, his RBI's won't be all that great.That and he popped out with the bases loaded and two outs in the top of the 9th down by 2 runs on Sunday. Pick up Theroit. At least he has some promise, especially in the SB department.

If your league is a 5x5, Theroit is a must. He is now the leadoff hitter and Pinella loves him. All he does is score runs. He played like this last September too.
