Should I roll with the Ravens D or pick one up on waivers? (1 Viewer)

There's a bunch of D's on waivers, but I'd have to drop a player in order to pick one up.

I assume it's 1 QB league. If that is the case there is no reason to roster Geno at this time unless your league hoards QB's and none are available on the waiver wire. If that is the case then I probably drop Conklin as you will never play him other than the bye week and for that case you can pick the flavor of the week up of waivers to use for that one week.

Yes it's a a one qb league.

My league also has a 7 player bench so there's slim pickin's on the fa front. Except for D's and Kickers.

Thursday games are usually ugly. It's the 1st game of the regular season and likely first game action for a lot of these guys this year as preseason is a joke. I think it will be ugly and a defensive battle with some bad offense. Defense usually starts the year better than the offense.

I am expecting a lower than average scoring game and would go with the under. Personally, I am not so sure I wouldn't just play the Ravens D and not worry about it as you probably spent up to get them so why not use them.

ETA: Plus its the first game of the year so having your "guy" playing for something to root for always makes it more fun.

Personally I would stream either Seattle or Cincy if available and drop Geno Smith. I get it is the first game of the year, but that also means defenses are figuring out their side of the ball just like offenses. I just wouldn't bet against KC and Mahomes.

I"m considering SEA over the Ravens.

The Ravens are projected very low on most Start/Sit Sites.

I would consider dropping geno or conklin to stream cincy this week. Ravens are solid the rest of way generally though.
