Would be interesting. I’m pretty lame and don’t get out much, so I’d be surprised if I were the only one that saw this.Going to have to start a poll about this.

True, yodeling counts as vocals.586. Focus - Hocus Pocus
@Tom Skerritt included this in his instrumental thread. I think that's cheating.
I think I like this, but the audio mix seems to spiral in my head - could be engineering - could be my mushroom burger - not sure.
I loved it there - and I love it here.586. Focus - Hocus Pocus

Only kind as fer as Imma concerned///True, yodeling counts as vocals.
Is that Todd Bridges dad?
Holds up great fer me.584. Edie Brickell & New Bohemians - What I Am
Not sure this holds up very well, but when this came out in '88, it just seemed so fresh and different at the time.
Neber met a dog, eh?
really like it and never heard of the guy.
It's not a guy. It's a band. Robert Palmer was in it for a stint.really like it and never heard of the guy.
Never heard of this group or song. Sort of reminded me of The Kinks up until around the 2:00 mark when it seemed the "trip" kicked in.582. Dr. Dog - Worst Trip
Also considered: Army of Ancients
Just discovered these guys recently. Right up my alley.
Sounds like a scene from one of the old Faces of Death movies.Goose snow cone? What does this even mean?
Beth Orton is awesome. Used to have her in heavy rotation on my work mix in the mid Aughts. Kind of lived and died with Brit rock/pop/hip hop/electronica in those days.New - nice voice - I like the bounce in it.
Piano is cool.
Chemical Brothers were a big part of that mix too. Great, GREAT stuff from them. I could listen to Let Forever Be or Dig Your Own Hole on loop for hours.Really good.
saved.
I don't know enuff about these gals/guys.
Like the coffee too...
It was someone's dog named Goose who was in one of those cones of shame that they wear to prevent them from licking an incision or wound or whatever.
Actually, it is a cat named Goose in the video...but yeah, the cone is the protective collarIt was someone's dog named Goose who was in one of though cones of shame that they wear to prevent them from licking an incision or wound or whatever.
Oh yeah, it was a cat. How could *I* forget that?!?!Actually, it is a cat named Goose in the video...but yeah, the cone is the protective collar
Should have been Anthony Edwards in a protective collar - they missed the boat.Actually, it is a cat named Goose in the video...but yeah, the cone is the protective collar
well holy ####. I like her music, but had no idea she was a part of Til Tuesday of "Voices Carry" fame.
Don'twell holy ####. I like her music, but had no idea she was a part of Til Tuesday of "Voices Carry" fame.![]()
If you're not real familiar with her stuff - I also like "Save Me".
I also think she is a pretty hot older lady.
I remember when this song was big there was an article in Spin magazine about Throwing Muses. Somehow they were talking about Edie and this song. One of them quoted the lyric “before I get too deep” and then said “I don’t think we have to worry about that”.584. Edie Brickell & New Bohemians - What I Am

Whoa. I was a huge Bruce fan and liked Bat Out of Hell. Never saw it as a parody. This was produced/engineered/paid for by Todd Rundgren - and it ended up being the biggest payday of his life. He later sold his rights/monies for a large chunk of money.
Interesting story about the creation of the album.
Having lived all around Ohio - I have never heard of this Meat Loaf line dance thing.
I’ve been to many weddings and have never seen this.593. Meat Loaf - Paradise By The Dashboard Light
Should be lower, but still a great song.
Reminds me of a wedding my wife and I went to in Cleveland a number of years ago. When this song came on at the reception, all the men and women between the ages of 20 and 50 rushed out to the dance floor, got in two facing lines with the men on one side and the women on the other and started singing the parts of this song. My wife and I looked at each other like, "what in the #### is going on here". I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone.
Is this a Cleveland thing? I've never seen anything similar at any other wedding I've ever been to.
I’ve been to even more bars (in that area) than weddings and I’ve never seen this.Bars in my area (New York City region) going back several years. I thought it was a universal thing like “Sweet Caroline” but I guess not
Did you already list this one or maybe it was in a one hit wonder thread?584. Edie Brickell & New Bohemians - What I Am

My first exposure to this song. Dickie Goodman - Mr Jaws590. WAR - Why Can't We Be Friends
I was thinking I only know this song because of its use in Dazed and Confused, but I feel like I've heard it a million times.
