Love this band - LoFi version of The Cure.
I love this song. I grew up on Roberta, and it wasn't my mom spinning her albums, it was my dad. I also dig her stuff with Donny Hathaway.
This pick shined a light on a blind spot. It's perfect and moving.I love this song. I grew up on Roberta, and it wasn't my mom spinning her albums, it was my dad. I also dig her stuff with Donny Hathaway.
Hahahaha, no. I am, however, the person who continually debates with her husband whether Lido Shuffle is a great or an awful song.562. Boz Scaggs - Lowdown
Also considered: Lido Shuffle
Was it @krista4 who said a few years ago she hadn't heard of this guy?

One might expect music snob Mr krista to be the “awful,” but he is the “great.”Another vote for "Great."

Whoa! That's a smart/drunk moment I fail to remember. I'm gonna pat myself on the back, just this once.558. Stone the Crows - Niagra
Thanks to @Mister CIA for introducing me to this. Great sound, incredible guitar solo.
I sold our software to a cannabis cultivator who was the first drummer for Green Day when they formed in high school.559. Green Day - Wake Me Up When September Ends
Billie Joe Armstrong kind of gets on my nerves and I'm not too crazy about this voice, so I don't like much of their catalog, but it really works for this song.

I hereby reiterate the prior story I associated with Tainted Love.555. Modern English - I Melt With You
A lot of memories associated with this, as it always seemed to be a big hit at our high school dances.
Refresh my memory.I hereby reiterate the prior story I associated with Tainted Love.
Do you not remember posting that?Mind kinda melted with this one: Stone the Crows - I kind of love her.
Krista confuses British New Wave bands and grew up in an area that didn’t get cable TV until the mid 90s.Refresh my memory.
Which number was Tainted Love? On my phone and a pain to find it.Refresh my memory.

I want a lawyer.Which part is which? That is both shocking and sad.
Gloria Jones's version was 680.Which number was Tainted Love? On my phone and a pain to find it.
Making me work for it, buddy.I will fight you. My memory of the Soft Cell version might be tainted (omg see what I did there) by the fact that it was the favorite song of my summer romance partner the summer after my first year of law school. We both worked at the biggest law firm in Louisville, and I remember dancing with him to this song all the time at probably Phoenix Hill Tavern. He was really cute with a great smile and bushy eyebrows.
As I typed this up, it occurred to me that the song in question might instead have been I Melt With You. Whatever, I'll fight you anyway.
If I were allowed only one post in this thread: Emmaline553. Hot Chocolate - You Sexy Thing
I really don't like overplayed songs. And this song is everywhere. But rightly so.
Narrator: no one actually fought himWay better than Soft Cell remake. Fight me.
It is both shocking and sad that he thinks Lido Shuffle is great.Which part is which?
