14 man PPR is my reference Guide. Please take the time to read I Put hours into this thank you.
Okay so this post is for Sleepers and best value picks/ highest ceiling players with some risk's and more.I'll start with listing my players then explaining why I believe they have great value. But first let me explain my drafting strategy and beliefs. I for one put great value into RB's and believe them to have the greatest drop off and also are the hardest position to fill. I feel QB's has alot of hidden gems and tier 2 guys who can more then fill your cap from the top 3-4 QB's drafted going in the first 2 rounds. Also WR's to me is the easiest position to fill and or waiver wire for during the season, and finally TE's I dont think this position can make or break your team as a whole, mind you there is one tight end in Jimmy Graham who I believe is worth the risk of taking if all top RB's are taken and your sorting threw a few id roll with him but once again there are many hidden gems at TE also. So I will begin with my list it is in no particular order just players off the top of my head. P.S. I know I dont have every sleeper on here your more then welcome to post your list actually it is encouraged Thank You.
1.Darren Mcfadden
2.Tony Romo
3.Steve Johnson
4.Jason Witten
5.Doug Martin
6.David Wilson
7.Peyton Hillis
8.Julio Jones
9.Matt ryan
10.Jordy Nelson
11.Dwayne Bowe
12.Brandon Lloyd
13.Tony Gonzalez
14.Reggie Wayne
15.Michael Crabtree
16.Titus Young
17.Greg Olsen
18.Brandon Pettigrew
19.Willis Mcgahee
20.BenJarvus Green-Ellis <
yes I copy and pasted his name, What it's really long)
1.Darren Mcfadden- I like this guy alot I believe his ceiling is the highest out of and running back I understand the injury risk but for a late first round pick he has the opportunity to produce top 3 numbers. Also his offense around him is starting to shape up and they are a run first team with him being the only legit running back im targeting this guy if I have a late first round pick.
2.Tony Romo- This is one of my great value picks, you see lots of teams going with a top 3 QB (Rodgers,Brady,Brees) at the cost of a first round pick. I believe Romo was in top 10 scoring overall last year and is being drafted round 5 or later why not solidify your Hard to find RB's and or a top WR first.
3.Steve Johnson- This guys is going in the 6th round with potential to be a low end number one hes a big body speedy WR and is the #1 in Buffalo. This guy has great value and i especially like the latest interview i seen with him saying he's putting all the antics behind him and just wants to win games he sounds motivated to me.
4.Jason Witten- I am high on witten cause he is one of the most consistent TE you can plug in, also he adds great value going late 5th-6th round. with the departure of Laurent Robinson, and also Miles Austin who is dealing with that Hamstring already his red zone target should go up significantly.
5.Doug Martin- I like this rookie he is a bigger back and shoul plug right in the Bucs offense, He's a good blocker and better back then Blount. He is in a run first offense with newly added weapons. Should be the clear cut number 1 with Great upside. Your drafting him in the 3rd round behind rookie Trent Richardson to some have been taking in the end of the first which i think is ridiculous, and also have him as your number 2 with I say minimal risk and high reward out weights the risk.
6.David Wilson- I have David ranked number 2 rookie RB Behind Martin Because of value, I have been drafting him round 7 or later he is the clear number 2 in NYG and is behin injury prone Bradshaw. Even with a healthy Bradshaw NYG love to split carries is can see him getting 10 carries with and 15+ without. Once again great value for a guy who could turn into your number 2 RB.
7.Peyton Hillis- This guy is a some what of a gamble to me what intrigues me about him is the offense he is in which run's the most in the NFL, Charles's injury, and the one year deal he received. He's more of a gamble cause hes going with a few serviceable back's who are clear Number 2's but has the opportunity to produce RB 1 numbers. A speedy back like Charles depend on his agility and is not going to bully you around so a torn MCL could hinder him, also with Hillis's 1 year deal he is looking for his last big payday and should be hungry. what ever happens i can still see 10-12 carries and goal line duty for hillis.
8.Julio Jones- This guy is a steal at the 3 round pick, the only guy who can top Megatron and be the leagues number 1 WR two rounds later.
9.Matt Ryan- Loving this guy because of his weapons he doesnt have a weak spot on offense and is poised for a break out season. He's being drafted in the bottom tier 2 QB's I can see him being a top 8 easily, But if your drafting him id go back to back Qb's so you can atleast play the match ups to be on the safe side.
10.Jordy Nelson-Was down on him at first but since the injury to Jenning's im loving him. He's going around the 3rd-4th round i expect his td's to drop a bit but he will be a legit number one reciever on any team.
11.Dwayne Bowe-This guy has fallen of the radar so bad since his hold out but he is signed and ready to play. Hes his teams number 1 receiver, and has the ability to be a top 10 receiver. Hes going 6th round or later and has a very high ceiling possible number 1/ very good number 2 kinda guy.
12.Brandon Lloyd- I'm liking him cause of the hole situation hes in with Brady and Mcdaniels. Im thinking a Moss Jr in the making, Fitzgerald himself complimented his hands saying he was the best(I'm Sure he was just being nice) but still 2nd best hand's ill take it also going in the 4th great value possible number 1 2 for sure.
13.Tony Gonzalez- A very Late round pick 8th or more and will be a very serviceable TE.
14.Reggie Wayne-I was sold on him when I seen the second preseason game with him and luck connecting so much and forgotten guy who I can see being a number 2/flex play again for a late pick.
15.Michael Crabtree- Im taking him late 10th round + but his numbers and the end of the year last year were impressive could be a solid 2/flex start for such a late pick.
16.Titus Young- A very explosive WR next to the best in the game should make things easy on him, hes also going threw a complete training camp and should grasp the offense better possible Victor Cruz jr here in the league more pass happy offense.
17.Greg Olsen- I liking this guy because of his targets last year, lose of jeremy shockey, and thinking that cam wont post more then 3 rushing td's next year.Olsen had 88 targets and shockey was 34 i believe, so even if he recieves half the targets he well above 100 targets. For a guy who is barely getting drafted I think that is great upside Possible starter TE With a 14th round pick.
18.Brandon Pettigrew- I love this guy he was the most targeted TE last year and is in the Most passing offense in the NFL. I expect Megatrons TD's to get back down to earth somewhere 10-12 leaving 4-6 extra td'sif he gets half those td's 2-3 putting him in the 7-8 td range and 800-900 yards that's a Top 10 TE. Also Note Madden Curse I love megatron and I hope it doesnt happend But you never know.
19.Willis Mcgahee- He was a sleeper for me last and and again this year John Fox loves to run the ball he displayed it in Carolina and also last year, Mcgahee is the Clear Number 1 With a rookie 3rd down change of pace back behind him. Look to see a few more td's from Mcgahee with Manning at QB not allowing teams to stack the box. Going in the 5th this guy can be a steal
20.BenJarvus Green-Ellis- This guy is a excellent number 2/ low end number one. There isnt a more sure handed back in the NFL who hasnt fumbled in 4 season's, He's also the clear cut number one and a proven goal line back. I can see him getting 270+ carries and 8-10 td's. he is involved in a up and coming offense with a legit WR and QB and has a good deffense so they will be pounding the rock controlling the game and for a 5th round price he is golden
