Snagit (1 Viewer)

For those that dont know, Snagit is a tool that allows you to record your PC screen. I am trying to create documentation and training videos. My question is, have any of you used this, and does it allow you to paste together several videos? It appears that it does not.

I use Any Video Converter that allows the same thing.

My only issue is - sometimes the sound gets thrown off

Snagit is general for a quick hit record. Much like its picture part, you can quickly grab what you need. I wouldn't use it for video editing though.

agree with Insein. I've used Snagit for mainly screen captures or short training clips where sound isn't required. For actual training videos, I would use a different program that is more designed for videos.

I have snag it but it is not great without Camtasia studio. You can get it to work but its a one and done with no editing if you dont have studio

Yeah, I use Snagit in coordination with Camtasia. Snagit is a great/cheap option to have an SME record themselves and then send to you in multiple clips for you to cobble in Camtasia. Having Captivate is also useful for training modules.

I second captivate. I've only started using it but it seems very easy to use.
