**SNF - Bengals at Chargers** (-1.5, 48) 8:20 (1 Viewer)

Should be a good one.

Question for Bengals fans: how many bad-start-to-the-season in a row is Mike Brown willing to endure from Zac Taylor? Does 2021 give him a lifetime exemption from accountability?
  • 2019 2-14
  • 2020 4-11-1 Burrow rookie season
  • 2021 10-7 added Chase won North 3-1 playoffs; lost in SB to Rams
  • 2022 12-4 won Northn2-1 playoffs; lost in AFCCG to Chiefs - started 0-2 (2-3) finished 8-0 (10-1)
  • 2023 9-8 4th place started 1-3
  • 2024 4-6 3rd place 1-4
Marvin Lewis
  • 16 seasons
  • 7 seasons above .500
  • won North 4x
  • 0-7 in playoffs
I didn't mean for it to sound like a rhetorical but here we are.

Guess the answer is another decade. Or two.

I know what that feels like.

Bengals have been kinda meh this year
Harbaugh has The Chargers playing well and winning
Prime Time
At home
Gotta go...

Los Angeles Team- 30
Cinncy Team- 23

I think these are 2 very evenly matchup teams, but the biggest difference to me is the Chargers are much better coached.

I think both QBs have good games, spreading it around more than usual in Burrow's case. I think both running games could struggle.

Chargers 24
Bengals 21

I got a bad feeling about the Bengals tonight.

I could benched Burrow for Nix didn't
I could benched Burrow for Stafford and didn't
I could have benched Higgins for Jennings in 2 leagues and didn't

Tirico is always trying to shovel players into a narrative. Hendrickson didn’t sack Herbert. If anything, it’s a half sack.

McConkey would be a devastating loss for the Chargers. Already probably one of the 8 most important players on the team.

Chargers secondary is really dirty. Derwin James and company are just tackling recklessly tonight. Higgins just got speared.

My favorite trade ever continues to be Mahomes for Herbert+Nico.

It’s only too bad Harbaugh doesn’t let them throw the ball. ;)

Collinsworth jerking off on Herbert is uncomfortable considering the Bengals defense is down this year.

Herbert hasn't done anything so far that most other NFL QBs couldn't do. I haven't seen anything remarkable, despite what Collinsworth would have us think. His usual tiresome narratives.
Herbert has been exceptional the last few weeks.

I mean these throws tonight that Collinsworth is slobbering over. They are normal throws.

Because of how good Burrow and Chase are, it doesn't get talked about enough how bad a play caller Zac Taylor is. That's the biggest difference between these 2 teams is the Chargers are significantly better coached.
