And I feel I would get just about the same amount of info as the non subscribers. THOUGHTS?
Non subscribers don't get to waste 500 hours in August tweaking a line up for the Subscriber Contest that could net them $35k in cash/prizesAnd I feel I would get just about the same amount of info as the non subscribers. THOUGHTS?

I'm kinda at the point, where I view my subscription as support to the site.I like the rookie draft guide by Waldman and I also like the buy low/sell high articles by Bloom. I also enjoy the article where the staff debate different players. The subscriber's contest is a nice bonus.
The Shark Pool is good but a lot of the best posters are here in the first place because of the staff and the stories.
Plus, I know that if you want something good to stay around, you need to pay your share.
not only does the content help me win a lot more than i probably would (17-2 right now, downfall surely coming) but it helps me understand football in ways i never would on my own. norton's IDP content is golden, bloom's work is off the charts, waldman's rookie scouting portfolio is brilliant as well for rookie drafts. worth so much more than the subscription price it's absurd. i would gladly pay more than i already do just to read these 3 guys.I'm kinda at the point, where I view my subscription as support to the site.I like the rookie draft guide by Waldman and I also like the buy low/sell high articles by Bloom. Sadly, I think I use 1% of what the site actually has to offer.
Agree on all points.Have subscribed here for 10 yrs or so and love all the info. Two yrs ago my employer shut down for 5 months and I just couldn't afford anything except the bare necessities. So no subscription. I told myself that I would just read the Sharkpool and keep caught up. And I read it every doggone day. But I still had huuuuge gaps in my info base and my (free that year) team was not nearly as good. The view from "the back of the dog sled" wasn't so pretty either. No fun at all.Thank god things are normal now and I rewarded myself with a new subscription. It's chump change normally and it's a real value from a time/ cost perspective.I'm alwaysI like the rookie draft guide by Waldman and I also like the buy low/sell high articles by Bloom. I joined earlybird ($22?) and I keep finding features that are 'worth the money alone'... Draft Dominator, Lineup Dominator, MyFBG weekly projections, MyFBG points against, game recaps, sleeper writeups, Passing/Rashing matchups, about 20 articles a week that I read regularly (Gut Check, Prospecting, Dynasty Implications, Staff Roundtable, Buy Low Sell High...)The hardest thing I've found is creating a pattern to keep up with the data I am most interested in each week. Not sure why anyone wouldn't fork over the $28. It is well worth if for me love the MyFBG feature so I get to get customized rankings each and every week. That alone is worth the money. The Subscriber contest is fun as well and I don't think I could live without that. Great articles as well, you name it when it comes to FF this is a one stop shop. You can't even take the wife to the movies for under $30 - and we all know Fantasy Football is more important than that.
Agree with everything but the weekly projections...unlike most of the content at FBG, this is not "at the top of the class". I would add the "Top 200"-- especially with this finally being initially available weekly on Tuesdays-- is a great guide to in-season waiver wire considerations.I joined earlybird ($22?) and I keep finding features that are 'worth the money alone'... Combining the FBG subscription with myfantasyleague.com is pretty bad ####, not only can you get weekly projections and top 200 catered to your league scoring that highlights your players, it highlights the FAs for your league too. So you see who's available that is ranked higher.I like to use the top 200 going forward to get an estimate of what I'm losing/gaining in trades. Not sure why anyone wouldn't fork over the $28. It was so obvious you could see the greatness without subscribing no where ...And how could anybody have been tipped off to the greatness of Finley without the subscription? (in pre-season 2009)Bump FBG's for bumping Finley.

Then you and me what? I don't think I like the sound of where this is heading, sailor.i am sorry guys but no one needs to pay anythying to dominate their league , those guys dont know more then you and me .All the infos you need to win are free on the internet...
I agree. I used to get it for the info. Then I got it for the contest. Now, I do just as well reading The Shark Pool and the free Training Camp info. I did like a lot of the subscription stuff....but it wasn't gospel....and really was only one component of my info for decision making. At this point in the game....I don't need the DD. A lot of the FF and football theory stuff is good and if I still bought magazines I'd no doubt get the subscription....but as of right now...until they make The Shark Pool members only from July to January....I'm not going to buy.And I feel I would get just about the same amount of info as the non subscribers. THOUGHTS?
have you won any FF titles?i am sorry guys but no one needs to pay anythying to dominate their league , those guys dont know more then you and me .All the infos you need to win are free on the internet...
That's true. It's a question of how much time you have. There is also the entertainment value of being able to read what other informed and thoughtful guys think about your hobby.have you won any FF titles?i am sorry guys but no one needs to pay anythying to dominate their league , those guys dont know more then you and me .All the infos you need to win are free on the internet...
