All indications are that the 49ers plan to stay within the building to replace waived wide receiver Braylon Edwards on their 53-man roster.That didn't stop Terrell Owens from volunteering his services via Twitter. Owens has 153 career touchdowns and six Pro Bowl appearances but has been out of the NFL in 2011 after spending last season in Cincinnati.The 37-year-old Owens has been rehabilitating a left knee injury that required surgery. He had 72 receptions and nine touchdowns in 14 games for the Bengals in 2010.The 49ers did not contact such veteran players as Owens and Jason Hill, who have histories with the franchise.Ted Ginn and Kyle Williams are iffy for Sunday's regular-season finale against the St. Louis Rams. Ginn is improving after missing a game with a left ankle sprain.
