Are these the cars about 6" long with the braided metal contacts underneath? I had a set like that in the basement as a kid (hand-me-down from my brother). At one point I had a multi-level layout with some uphill and downhill sections. There was a straightaway suspended from the ceiling with wire, and I think a spiral coming back down to table level.
Looked cool as hell but it was hard to keep the electrical connections where the track wasn't flat on the table.

That's awesome, too bad I don't have enough room (or money) for it. I currently have this set up for my boys. Do I have to admit I was 23 when I bought it for myself?
