I hate them to. The odd thing is that love whiskey and only drink it neat, but shooting it just disgusts me.I get the hell out of there. Not into shots.
Love bourbon neat. Love a good tequila to sip on. #### shots tho.I hate them to. The odd thing is that love whiskey and only drink it neat, but shooting it just disgusts me.
If somebody's buying shots, I'll happily get one and sip it. If it's the common selection, it'll be Turkey 101. Maybe a nice rye if they have one.
This has been my answer for the past 15-20 years but man, the past few times I've had it straight up it's just tasted terrible.... like gasoline. I don't drink nearly as much as I used to of course. I do like whiskey but need to find something to replace my old buddy Jack.Jack
Canadian whiskey: Not good.Whistle Pig Rye and like pollard above me I'll sip it
The stuff in bottles now is Canadian . They are fully operational in VT now , distillery & rye farm . It's still good like bourbons from MGP in Indiana.Canadian whiskey: Not good.
buddy of mine has been drinking Jack n' Coke (aka the LEMMY) since St. Swithun's day ... we had our first ever drinks together some 37 years ago - barely outta 7th grade - and that's what he opted for, and has hung with it ever sinceThis has been my answer for the past 15-20 years but man, the past few times I've had it straight up it's just tasted terrible.... like gasoline. It is very good, actually. I just never liked their dishonesty, and am being a smart###.The stuff in bottles now is Canadian . They are fully operational in VT now , distillery & rye farm . It's still good like bourbons from MGP in Indiana.
Agree on their dishonesty before they were outedIt is very good, actually. I just never liked their dishonesty, and am being a smart###.
Lol. My buddy at work (he's a waiter) downs GrandMa like it's water. Not many fellow Chefs/waiters/bartenders 'round these parts, I guess...
Grand Marnier, or Irish Mist.
You'll have to excuse @The Gator he's a Liverpool fan so obviously he has no taste nor dignity.I really hope people aren't serious about shooting a good Scotch, that's a serious violation of international drinking law.
There's no such thing as tequila made in the U.S.No Jameson. That #### poisons me. Probably tequila, but it's got to be something anejo, locally made in Mexico. Nothing made is the U.S. I can't remember the last time someone wanted to buy me a shot or drink of anything though. That must be nice. I usually hang out with a lot chicks, though, so that's probably the reason. I don't hang out with a lot of dudes, not that it's a bad thing or anything, that's just me, but chicks usually don't buy dudes drinks. Unless they are older women. Anyway, if anyone wants to "do shots" my go-to is to let whatever chick I'm with recommend something. All my chicks are good at drinking alcohol so they always come up with creative #### that usually doesn't suck.

Not much of a drinker nowadays but I bought a bottle of Fire the other day. Love it.I have and I 100% agree with you. Way better.
Problem is, Fireball has such a marketing edge right now that down in the south, that's sort of the only option every bar has these days.
But you're absolutely right, I'd def take Tennessee Fire over Fireball any day
